What is also interesting is that I received outcome 3 days after the “uploading button” disappeared, similar to standalone PR application in the past.

So you can expect out come when your uploading document button disappeared.
You're saying that in the new updated PR system (the one that mention 'products'), The upload button (used to update your employment details) also disappears when result is imminent?

That's correct. Three days before I received the outcome, all the buttons disappeared.

There is only "Application Submitted" and "Outcome Received" boxes.

This might be for your case, but may not be for all. Mine is still pending since Nov 5, similar status.

And as if on cue, it seems my Upload Buttons have disappeared. It seems that they're working on a certain batch.

However, I take this as a negative news since I've only applied 4 months ago (4 months and 2 weeks). Considering my profile, I'm expecting a swift rejection. ](*,) . I'm pre-emptively sad but not surprised.

Thanks! This is probably one of my biggest plot twists that has ever happened to me considering my profile.

Here is the timeline for my application for newborn kid:

July 8 2024: submitted application for LTVP + PR
Feb 8 2025: PR IPA granted, LTVP rejected

So about 7 months.
Firstly, Congratulations on the PR IPA for your child, and thanks for updating us on the status of your application.

I suppose you & your spouse also are a PR and your child must have been issued with a Special Pass when the birth was registered in ICA. If that's the case, may you please advise how did you manage to keep the Pass extended until the final outcome of the PR?

I'm currently in the same situation and in a dilemma whether to apply only the LTVP (at ICA Visitor Service Centre) or also bundle it with PR (through MyICA) for my newborn. Please advise.

Congrats on your child! Yes we were PRs at that time.

We kept our child on Short Term Visit Pass. You can keep renewing it each month citing the reason that LTVP+PR application pending, and ICA renew it without any question asked.

Thank you for your wishes and response 🙏🏻😊

Should the renewal have to be at the ICA Visitor Centre? If yes, should we need to bring the baby every month for the renewal or can we go by ourselves to apply for the renewal?

I called the ICA Customer Support yesterday and the person spoke to me suggested me to apply for LTVP first and then separately apply PR since the baby will have to be on a Special Pass until the outcome. I think that make sense if I have to travel overseas with the baby, then I may need to apply for a separate STVP when I come back to Singapore (or the current Special Pass may still be valid to enter back). However, if I don't have to travel for this year then, I think I can still go with the bundle option.

I'm applying for the passport only next week, so I will try to choose either of these options based on my situation then. Thanks again for your prompt response 🙌🏻

All the best @roamtank for your outcome

It’s online renewal, so really convenient.

Oh! That's a huge relief! Should we use the DE number as the one mentioned in the Advisory note? If yes, I would be happy to submit the same bundle and just keep the pass renewed. Oh! wait, should we have to travel overseas then, do we need to apply a separate STVP for the baby to enter back to Singapore or the same the Special can be used to visit again while the other applications are still pending? Would you know?

1. Same DE number as in the advisory note/special pass.

2. If you travel overseas, when you entered back to Singapore, you'll get a new DE number and new Short Term Visit Pass when submitting SG Arrival Card (assuming that you don't need visa to enter Singapore).
You can continue to extend this STVP until the outcome of PR+LTVP application :D

Thank you again for clarifying. That's really cool that you don't have to apply for a separate visa for the baby and get the current Special Pass to keep extending further until we receive a valid pass.

i applied ltvp for my wife on 28 jan 2025,
called ICA to ask about residing in singapore while on pass, officer mentioned the processing time is now 8-12 weeks.. ica website not updated yet..
im eagerly waiting, hoping to get the ipa by next week.

my current landlord doesnt allow my wife to stay in the hdb room (last date of stay is 10 march for my wife) as it is technically illegal to stay in hdb while under tourist pass...

dont have much option.

unless i moved to Serviced Apartment or send her back to home country first.
but if i rent serviced apartment, extending her visa for indefinite time is also not viable..

anyone has any suggestion?

Honestly, based on my months of research and checking this forum. It was highly improbable of my profile to get approved this quick as the sentiment that "4 months" is definitely a swift rejection. I am aware that my nationality isn't even "favored", and it seems everyone in this forum have advanced degrees or even earns way more than me. So I felt that odds are stacked against me.

I also kept expectations very low and I was working on improving my chances of EP renewal on the side. I however made sure that my PR application deliverables are not low quality (translations, legalisations; especially for my documents back home) and went all out in what looked like a "hail mary throw".

And it worked :o.
