EP RENEWAL IN 2025

Dear All long time no see and good to be Back here..
My question now is about EP renewal in September 2025 after the new Compass Framework.
I am 45 now and am worried of the meeting the Criteria for EP Renewal-
Job Title : Contract Manager for an MNC
Salary : $12500 fixed
Education : Diploma in Engineering
Sector : Retail trade

Will any short term Professional courses add value for my situation? Any recommendations?

It's a small company with just 2 people and the other one working with me is a local.

Go look here: https://www.mom.gov.sg/passes-and-permi ... ligibility it is pretty clear and straightforward to check if you will pass Compass.

From what you've said you may miss out as you don't have a bachelors degree equivalent qualification. The only other qualifications that help are professional qualifications issued by organizations like the institute of engineers, there is a list on the pages linked above.

I think instead of sharing your story of Reddit you should have shared it here with more details, people here would have given you good advice. But it seems, even though you know what the solution is, you seem to be not willing to help yourself to get out of your situation.

At age 45 living in this uncertainty is not worth it man. I hope you learn to face your problems and fix them and start a new life.

Regarding you question, nobody here knows the compass metrics also your situation maybe completely unique, because it is a 2 people company. You may also consider S Pass, I am not sure.

But I would suggest, try to close all your debts and make a fresh start in a new country where you can have long term visibility. May be India is that country maybe somewhere else.
