A2a re-entry

I was refused entry to SG 5 years ago, they sent me back to the philippines. I now live and work in the UAE. Can I enter singapore with no problems? U have PH passport

Why were you refused entry? The actual reason given may give us a clue. Singapore has a very long memory.

I was supposed to go SG then UAE. So they figured out i was supposed to go to to UAE and refused me entry to the country

Are you saying you were in transit to go to the UAE via SG? But you tried to go through immigration and enter Singapore? I would assume if you were in transit only, you would have needed a visa to enter Singapore and you probably didn't have one as your final destination was the UAE?

Would someone with a Philippines passport need a visa to enter Singapore?

No. They were trying to say I’m trying to go to SG only as a decoy but I’m really going to UAE. I dont know why that would be a problem if I’m just a tourist

See my tome on the other thread. I think the proper term might have been courier(e.g., smuggler or carrying contraband) rather than decoy. But without an insight into the ICA officer's mind I don't know.

Five years is a long time if they didn't have grounds to detain you so I'm thinking it is probably safe to go back but there is no real way of knowing other than trying to contact ICA to get a determination from them.
