Hi all knowledgeable people here! My son is 15 years old and PR. We may have an opportunity to move to the US for 1-2 years with my employer.
I understand I will either have to renounce PR or apply for an exit permit for my son.
- when I apply for exit permit, what documentation do they require? My work contract for US ? A US visa? Something else?
- Should I apply for 1 year initially and then extend if we get to stay longer than 1 year in the US?
- How long does it normally take for a PR 15yo to get an exit permit issued?
