PEP vs EP for PR application

Post by keisuke » Thu, 30 May 2024 8:02 pm

Hi,

My PEP is going to expired next year ~ 05/2025 and I'm preparing application to apply for PR.
I wonder if I should apply with PEP or ask my company to apply EP for me first (they're willing to do it at any time).
The new EP should have longer duration, but I'm not sure if keeping PEP until expired would show any positive points?

Thanks

Just apply now with PEP, later when you change to EP make sure to inform ICA.

Just be sure to always have a valid pass.
I don't think keeping PEP until just before expiry would be seen as a bad thing as long as there is no period you are not on a pass.
