Process/Timeline after PR

Post by ManUSg » Mon, 27 May 2024 12:14 am

Hi,

After the ICA appointment, and submission of photos, medicals, and other docs, how long before the NRIC cards are issued? I have travel plans just about a week after my appointment date.

Based on my husband’s experience in 2022, he collected his hardcopy IC one week after the appointment.

You either:
1. Push back your travel plan
2. Bring forward the appointment
3. Push back the appointment but making sure it’s still within AIP validity

Before you get the hardcopy IC, you get one flimsy slip of paper that acts as your temporary IC. I don’t think you want to travel with a flimsy slip of paper right?

hmmm, ok, thanks, a week might be cutting it too close. Moving the appointment is probably the best option.
