ICA update but no update?

Post by bonvoy888 » Sat, 27 Apr 2024 7:15 am

Morning ladies and gents,

I received an email from ICA saying:

"Dear Sir / Madam,
There are changes to the status of your Permanent Residence application. Please log in to MyICA to view this update.

If you are unable to view the status or if you have applied as a student, please log in to our e-Service (Enquire Application Status) to view this update.

Yours sincerely,

ICA SERVICES CENTRE
IMMIGRATION & CHECKPOINTS AUTHORITY"

However when I log in to both portals it still says pending under application status.

Anyone had this before? Just wondering if I'm missing some other notification that I need to attend to.

Cheers

Usually this means the portal will show a result of whether approved/reject. May be it will take 1 or 2 days to update on the portal. If it still shows as pending after 2 to 3 days, may be you can give a call to ICA or email them.

Many thanks! I checked again today and got the outcome.

Must be the system takes a day or so to update.

Approved!

I know people like to read about these things and form their own views, so a little colour:

Caucasian family with daughter and son.
Applied Sept 2022.
Been in SG 12 years.

Congrats. 12 years, sounds like you've paid your dues. I'm also a Caucasian and got after 13 years (last application was at 11 years approved in 1995. Patience is key.

Congratulations! We know you're not American because you can't spell "colour".
