What if additional document submission is required but appointment slots are full?

Post by VALENFAN » Sat, 20 Apr 2024 11:07 pm

my PR IPA has been approved on 21st March, my appointment is on 9th May.

Since now the slots are almost full till 21st May, what if unluckily I'm required to submit additional documents on 9th May during the appointment but all appointment slots are full till 21st May?

Will ICA help book a slot for me in that case?

thank you

You will have to keep logging into the site to see if there are any cancellation of slots and be ready to grab one. I'm sure there are some on the forum who have done this in the past (lots of them). I'm not sure of the time of the updating of the slots but I think it's sometime around midnight or shortly thereafter. Maybe somebody here can fill in that information.

All that you need to submit will be written on the IPA letter. You will be unlucky only if you don't follow instructions of the letter.

There will be no new surprise documentation to submit during your appointment.

This means, if asked for birth cert in English or with a certified English translation if not in English, then you better get a certified translation. Don't go in there hoping ICA will accept incomplete documentation.
