I have applied PR for almost 3 years+ , should i work in SG First?

Hi everyone,
I have been applying PR since 2020 or 2021 ,
My mom is PR for pretty long time , My sister got her PR around 2018
I tried searching for jobs in Singapore,
But my mom asked me not to due to applying PR is not allowed to work in Singapore is that true?
Should i start working in Singapore first?

To work in Singapore as a foreigner, you need to apply for a employment pass or work permit.

Currently 21 Years old , After august birthday I cant apply thru my parents right?

If you are already 21 years old, you cannot apply as a dependent.
