Pr chances 2024

Post by iphonemini2024 » Mon, 08 Apr 2024 4:23 pm

Hi All,

Just wanted to get some insights about how hopeful I should be about my PR application. I just submitted mine today and if the application turns out to be unsuccessful, I will be trying again when my circumstances improve.

Age: 27, born in Singapore with Singapore Birth Certificate, took PSLE, O-Levels and A-Levels in Singapore

Highest qualification: A-Level certificate (will be enrolling into SUSS this July for part time degree so omitted from application as not enrolled yet)

Nationality/Race: Malaysian Chinese

Salary: $3,200 per month (2024 NOA was $42,000/yr including bonuses)

Working in a law firm as a secretary

Both parents deceased but my aunts and uncles are Singaporeans / PRs

Have been residing here since primary school

Any insights will be appreciated 😊 Thank you.

Currently holding SPass, was previously wp and student pass.

Both deceased parents were Malaysians but worked in Singapore on work passes previously (s pass and work permit). My dad previously contributed CPF when foreigners were allowed to. Not sure if the records will show and would help with my chances. He applied for PR but due to age, was rejected before he passed more than 10 years ago.

your dad CPF contribution and uncle/auntie status dont think will help you.

But your long stay in Singapore might help you.

You should know Malaysian Chinese and study all the way from Pri , will help but how much, I also dont know.

If this round dont get it. Try few yr later.
