Please don't have high hopes mainly because of
1. Age
2. Pass Type

But you may go ahead and apply once more. May be the 2 sons in the application and the duration of stay in SG, may tilt the application in your favour.

Also any reason why the younger son was put into an international school?

But i would say like the overall chances are around 30% ?

We applied for a slot in a local school for my youngest son (where my eldest was studying) but was not given.

Thanks SF for your inputs. We will go ahead and submit the application and hope for the best.

That's odd. A child who has a sibling studying in the primary school should be automatically offered a place in you register during phase 1.

However, if you miss this phase 1 registration, then you will lose the privilege to secure early spot in primary 1 and can only hope that there is leftover spot that is not filled up by locals in phase 3 registration.

Phase 1 only applies to SC and PR students.

Foreigners can't select a particular school even sibling studying there.
Nevertheless, try to get AEIS for P2.

There are still Pinoys getting approved for PR at age 45 and above together with their families. But these are rare. My advice is just to keep applying and keep your fingers crossed.
