Why would I ban you? I'm not the one who is butt hurt. I became agnostic in 1960. I studied most, if not all the major religions of the world and a lot of minor ones as well over a 25 year period until 1984 or 85 (after I'd spend three years studying here as well. I found none that were non-aggressive so therefore I couldn't, in my heart accept any. It is funny in a way, as of all the Christian religions I found Catholicism the most irrational but I still ended up marrying one and have been married to one (Singaporean) for over 40 years. I have two children (adults of 35 & 40 now) and 4 grandkids. All were born & baptized Catholics and my wife raised them that way under the proviso that once they reached their teens if they decided to leave the church, she must let them. I also made a promise to her that I would never interfere with or try to convince them to change. Religions, (all of them) are created by man. The writings are all created by man. Therefore none are the "valid" religion. However, all religions are created to give man something else to hold onto (e.g., the knot at the end of a rope) in times of stress/need because most men are not able or strong enough to believe in themselves. I don't diss any religion. But then again for the past 64 years I been strong enough and moral enough to put myself up against anybody morally. Religion is a man-made construct to control other men. Nothing more. So no, I don't plan on banning you. You are still welcome here as long as you maintain decorum and don't resort to threats. Should that happen Admin will ban you. Peace be with you. (but reading your last post, there is not much peace within you).

Why does every post of yours turn into a mini life story? I don't deny you've had a somewhat interesting and long life but why you do have to dump it in every discussion?

I've met Malay / Expat lady couples. It does happen - it probably happens far more in Malaysia or Indonesia though.

What I have observed… couples where it’s an Asian guy with an ang moh lady — usually the Asian guy is a SNAG (sensitive new age guy), which is what most western women are looking for. There is one such couple in my condo who we know well.

I can definitely relate to your energy and outlook—feeling young at heart is key, no matter what the calendar says!
