LTVP for children and spouse

Post by liznaj » Thu, 14 Mar 2024 2:23 am

Hello everyone, I am a sg citizen looking to apply for LTVP for my spouse and our 3 kids. We have been living in the US but are looking to relocate to singapore. I'm in the process of filling in the applications on myica and I'm confused about how to go about applying for everyone at the same time. Might be a silly question but I would appreciate if someone can help.

The options for new LTVP applications include "spouse of singapore citizen" and also "unmarried child, under 21, of singapore citizen / singapore pr". I don't see an option for a family applying together. I filled in the spouse application for my spouse, but when I try to fill in the "unmarried child, under 21" application, there's no option to submit for multiple children. If I try to start applications for my second and third child, I get an error message that I already have a child application pending. Is it sufficient to apply for just the spouse LTVP and have our children listed as dependents, i.e. it's understood by ica that the entire family is applying together, or do I need to somehow apply individually for each person? Thank you for any clarification I can get!

Coming back to answer my own question. I had to complete the submission for one child before starting the application for the next child.

It’s always great when a submitter comes back and shares their own experience, especially after not getting any response (which usually means nobody that read it had gone through that experience yet).
