SAK FC is recruiting! The world-famous* club play 6 or 7-aside every Thursday, followed by an essential debrief at the local bar. With the historic* club's imminent move to a great new venue at The Cage @Dempsey, the club is keen to recruit new members.
WHO? Players from all four corners of the globe, with the majority from Europe, US and Australia, aged 40s-50s, with varying levels of skill from 'haven't played for ages' to 'I could have been a Premier League player' (mostly the former…)
WHEN? Every Thursday 7-9pm. There are no other ways to have two hours of fun* for $25. Perfect timing, let's face it, who does anything interesting on a Thursday evening….
WHY? It’s a good kickabout, decent exercise, played in good spirit, and you get to meet some (mostly) decent folks. We also schedule an annual overseas tour for a game of 11-a-side, a club Xmas Brunch, as well as social events through the year.
