saw a recent news article about the potential increase of Batam's entertainment tax. not sure about other folks here, but this just makes me not want to travel to Batam anymore even for a short getaway

I don't travel there, suffer from motion sickness each time I sit on a ferry ride. I see a lot of people in Singapore visiting there. Not sure what's nice there.
