Anyone have experience with the Audi A4 and can share pros/cons? We're looking into getting a 2018.

Trusty 4 cylinder turbo car. Handles well but not as good as the 3 series IMO. Looks understated and not as flashy as the other German marques. I personally prefers the 3 series or Merc C class.

Beware of the gearbox, have heard horror stories on the older models. Ensure the gear change is smooth and does not jerk alot when shifting from P to D or R.

Not a fan of Mercedes at all. Very poorly rated from what I've seen. Drove a C180 for a bit and hated it.

The states. Couldn't imagine getting one in SG, could not justify the cost at all. In SG we drive a Hyundai.

In the US, I found the best advice was from the Consumer Reports New & Used Car Buying Guide. Consumer Reports is strictly non-profit, to keep their reviews unbiased. You can find some of the info from their webpage, but it’s best to delve into the magazine itself for all of the details.

Queenstown Library here subscribes to Consumer Reports (US edition - there are no non-US editions), and the magazines are on the rack. Yet another reason why it has always been my favorite library in Singapore. I’d say less than half of what gets reviewed by Consumer Reports applies to stuff sold here, but my parents often ask me what to buy, and I still buy stuff from the US and bring it back here, so it’s still relevant for me.

Ahh, Queenstown Library. So quiet and peaceful. Though not the most accessible without a car. Which is maybe why it's never very busy.
