Casino syndicates

So sophisticated and smart?

Could they have gotten away if it was some other casino or country? Remembered a show I watched was similar to this scheme. Where the lecturer and students went to the casino to hatch similar scheme.

They are very smart to devise a formula for counting cards.

If the player can count in their head without any assistance or device, it should be legal. Until then, it is a crime here.

That's right, as long as you are doing all the card counting in your head, the casinos cannot prove anything other than fantastic luck. But any gizmo or a confederate signaling to you will create major problems for the gambler that is caught. Most casinos will not permit you to use a cell phone near the tables for this reason.

I am sure there are some genius out there who can do some form of card counting formula in their head. Wouldn't think anyone will share it they could.

I have watched many asian gambling movies 😁

There are some who can truly do the math in their heads. Saw one guy who got banned from 95% of casinos in the world because he kept winning.

Casino's will ban you for even just having a good run of luck. The house hates losing.

The most consistent way to make money in a casino is to launder money. I was at a dinner with the chap who ran the Darwin Casino security - they knew exactly who was doing it up to the legal limit (AUD10,000 in Australia). He told me of an older Japanese woman who would come in every night they were open for YEARS with $10,000 in cash, buy some 10k of chips and mess around for a few hours and cash in just under $10,000 chips for a bank cheque on the casino. 99% certain this was money laundering. I asked him what he thought her cut was and he estimated $500 but wasn't sure.

Buy $10,000 worth of chips, then play the $5 blackjack table for a few hours... I could see how the casino might become suspicious.

Thanks for providing the definition. Not for me - I expect x9200 (named after a fax machine model) may not know what the word means.

You clearly haven't been on the Forum long enough to know who x9200 is or their background. You might want to shut it down now...

I've been here about 5 years and have no clue who he/she is or anything about his/her background. Is there some kind of bio section on this site that I've missed?
