Shopee Affiliate Programme

Hi everyone,
I’m currently holding onto S pass, been working in SG for a few years.
Recently I was approached by Shopee to join their affiliate program (post 2 Instagram story for $100 voucher). I didn’t think much of it and went ahead with the posting and received the voucher.
However, I did not realize that my affiliate link generates commissions from the orders made from clicking my link. It is a small sum (less than $20). But I think It will be taxable (?) and will show on IRAS record.
I have emailed Shopee to remove me from the program as well as to stop the payment. Just want to seek your opinion if I am in trouble for this
