help! if i want to book out a restaurant or place where i can hold a birthday parety of about 30 people with some light games and buffet + free flow drinks with out exceeding $30 per head, whre should i go? thanks!

Indonesia. That "free flow of drinks" just won't jibe with $30 per head.

Not sure about the food but one of my friends had a great b'day party at Fez, the bar above the Indian restaurant on Boat Quay

If your free-flow drinks are non-alcoholic, it's possible. If your free-flow period is 30 minutes, it's possible with alcoholic drinks. Otherwise, forget it. S$50/head min.

Try the Prickly Bush Bistro. It's a newly renovated shophouse with roof terrace etc, which has been converted in a bistro/pub. It is ideal for private parties and very reasonable priced too.
