Singapore PR Approval Chance 2023

Hello everyone,

I applied my PR application in Nov 2023. Can you please advise on my chance of approval ? Which areas should I improve ?

Nationality: Myanmar
Age: 22
Race: Chinese
Gender: Male
Marital status: Single
Applying for: Myself only
Education:
Diploma in Management Studies from Singapore Institute of Management (SIM)
Bachelor of Business Management from RMIT University

Length of Stay: 5 years (came to Singapore in Sep 2018 as student)
Pass Type: Spass
Occupation: Operations Executive at a shipping agency company
Salary Range: S$3000 - 3500 per month
Work Experience: 1.5+ years in Singapore
SG Tax Assessment: 1 year
Family Ties: 1 Singaporean uncle, 1 PR uncle
Social Contribution: 18 volunteered hours as Singapore Red Cross Member, 4 blood donations at Blood Bank

Pros:
- Chinese race (you better have proof you have Chinese ethnicity in case ICA asks)

Cons:
- Nationality
- Marital status, get married is better and preferably to citizen
- S pass, get EP is better
- Salary a bit low

Does not matter & don’t bother including in the application:
- PR/citizen uncles. Extended family has no bearing on the application. Only immediate family (parents/children/spouse) might add some weight.

- Volunteering/donating. ICA never ask for this at all.

I think you still need more time to build your profile. Having read through almost all the posts on this sub-forum, i suggest you to take a look for posts by myanmar applicants in this forum. Your local poly education (not sure how they will view the private bachelor degree) and the claimed chinese race may be positive as indicated by the other post. However, the nationality will take a toll on your chances. If not this time, try next one. My gauge is that you may need around 10yrs of stay under your belt. May be your positive aspects may reduce this. Do update here the outcome for us to learn.
