Dairy Farm Residences - Maintenance fee more than doubled

Post by abbby » Thu, 23 Nov 2023 5:22 pm

In fact, I was rather surprised that during the launch the developer had quoted only $200-$300+ for 3 bedroom, it seems rather low for a 3 bedroom. Now, they are being quoted maintenance fees more than double at $700+ for 3 bedroom.

I think it would affect many owners since these are monthly outgoing fees, but I don't think they would have much recourse on this as developers would probably have let them sign a fine print that fees are set to rise over time.

Don't understand why the estimated maintenance fees differ so much, it will be a shock for new owners collecting their keys.

I don't see much recourse for now as owners need their maintenance fees paid in full before the developer can authorise the key collection process.

The only way for owners is to wait till the reaidents' MCST is formed and then work out all the costs and trim the expenses to lower the monthly fees.
