Hi, I graduated from a local university in 2021. I worked for 2 years, until July 2023. I applied for LTVP under the Higher Institute of Learning (my first time applying for LTVP) on 1st August.
ICA website says this is supposed to be processed in 6 weeks. As of now it's 3rd Nov, already 13 weeks, and my LTVP is still pending. I've emailed ICA to ask and only got a stock response.
Has anyone faced this kind of very long waiting time before? Any response appreciated, thank you.

May be can you explain us why you wanted to apply an LTVP? From my understanding, a graduate usually applies LTVP when looking for a job immediately upon graduation. Rarely, i have seen some one apply for LTVP under HIL after already working for 2 years. May be other forum members can help

Quite sure the LTVP for graduates of higher learning institutes is only for fresh grads, not for people who graduated, worked for a few years, then become unemployed… Doesn’t work that way.

why small units psf are usually higher than bigger ones?

First post
I guess some real estate agents would find a way to get small ones (usually 400-600 sq ft) in new projects and make them resale after 3 years....

Large units have the opportunity to enjoy more capital appreciation since the sq ft is bigger. However more input in capital as well. I've heard of...
