Just be prepared for dumb questions like “why does she want PR”? This was asked of us when we appealed for our daughter’s PR. It’s best to just be honest… because they seem to have a lack imagination about the reasons people apply for PR (or maybe just pretend to?). I would also say it is essential that her husband come down with her for the appeal, this shows sincerity and that he genuinely supports it. They will need a written letter (can be submitted at the interview or later) that states all of the reasons he thinks her PR should be reconsidered. That was our experience anyway.
That is the same kind of thought process that got my daughter’s PR rejected when she was age five. In fact, it was pretty obvious, because they did a deep dive into her PR mother’s financial wherewithal, they even wanted details of any properties owned. But in our appeal letter we focused only on the length of time we have spent in Singapore and future contributions our daughter might make.jalanjalan wrote: ↑Sat, 18 Nov 2023 11:06 amSorry to hear that but it wasn't unexpected. The question is: what's in it for SG to grant her PR?
