Crazy Guy (Me) moved to singapore for love and is trying to find a work.

Post by RUIZ » Fri, 20 Oct 2023 9:05 am

Hello to everyone,

My name is Abraham (22 years old)and I hope you guys are doing well and your day is being as good it can be, nice to meet you all!

As you can see in the title that’s me, a crazy guy who moved to Singapore for love because I meet here a wonderful Philippine girl with who I want to make my life. ❤️🫶🏻

So Im Spanish and i was a e-sports player for Wildrift, before the competitive of the game died, my name is Ig and social medias is ggwp_ruiz, so you can check im not lying. I meet her in my first world championship competition in Singapore 2 years ago and since today we have been visiting each other until I moved 2 weeks in Singapore to stay with her finally, because tbh someone of us needed to do the sacrifice for each other to dont let the relationship die, so here I am.

Basically Im looking for a job here in Singapore wich can provide me any type of permit and pass so i can stay with her more than the 90 days that my short pass visit term provide me.

I can work in everything is needed and do any type of work/job even if is hard! Im trying do everything since I came here 2 weeks ago like linkedin, fastjob sg, JobStreet, walk in- interview, indeed…etc.

For now I had no luck with them… So if someone knows about works/jobs wich is providing work permit or any permit to stay here I would love with all my heart if you let me know 🥹 Im available for interviews 24/7 + give my resume without any problem. I wont give up until the last day of my stance here!

My number is 92963540 and my gmail [email protected] in case someone wants to help me! Thank you so much and I love you all guys.

Do you have any type of skills? Are you networking with those people? It may be much easier for her to move to Spain than you to move her.
I not lawyer/teacher/CPA.
You've been arrested? Law Society of Singapore can provide referrals.
You want an International School job? School website or http://www.ISS.edu
Your rugrat needs a School? Avoid for profit schools
You need Tax advice? Ask a CPA
You ran away without doing NS? Shame on you!

Filipinas find work everywhere. Don't hang around this expensive little red dot.

Filipinas are highly adaptable, willing to move and can get to yes quick, assuming you are serious. I’ve known a few expats who’ve met Filipinas here and took them back home. You mentioned you are Spanish, which means an EU passport? I know Spaniards who work in Switzerland, Netherlands, etc… Singapore not so much; and the girl isn’t even local? Nah, I don’t see Singapore in your future.

If you are a digital nomad and want to spend some time in Asia, that’s easier. The Philippines is actually the easiest, tourist extensions for 3 years, visa run and repeat. Marry a Filipina? Even easier, balikbayan 1 year at a go — low cost, no hassle.

Seems pointless to try and settle here without any roots in this day and age... to damn expensive and hard to acquire legal residency.
