Current info on Champagne Brunches

Post by Aliiii » Sat, 14 Oct 2023 1:23 pm

Looking for suggestions for champagne brunches. Much of the information here is old so looking for updated info about what is offered now.

What is available ? and which are your favourites. Are there any for under $200

Thank you in advance

Unfortunately I had to stop to frequent such brunches but if this comes to the ordinary ones (as opposite to, for example Christmas) I believe you may still rely* on the old information for most of the places. What changed in last few years it is more brunches with free flow (I assume this type you look for) appeared. Generally there is no problem to get it free flow for reasonable price but more problem with good choice of buffet. Also much more places with free flow of prosecco and Cava around for a fraction of the price.
Having said that, our favorite one is still Melt Cafe at Mandarin Oriental. It is sub-$200 too I believe. For a good chance of satisfying buffet I would check the places like Fullerton, Hyatt, Ritz-Carlton, Shangrilla, Pan Pacific... The food should be ok, but the price may be higher.

*) rely, as of the place worth to consider. The price and brand of champagne varies and changes frequently.

The weekend brunch at Andaz by Hyatt is 55++ SGD, add 78++ SGD for a free-flow of alcohol (this would be 156 SGD after taxes). I only tried the food selection (and I loved it), the atmosphere is quite relaxed I would say. The Grand Hyatt at Orchard is still closed for renovation.
