Not sure there are any ICA approved translators. Don't you just need either a) the Embassy of the country that issued the document or b) any notary public? For a), the question is whether the Embassy provides that service. For b) it may depend what language the document is in (some languages more common than others)?

Lavender MRT station has many ads for translation services. Whether they are official, I don’t know.

Sorry, I think you are missing the point. What language is the document that you need translated in? If you go to someone that knows English and Chinese but you need a translation of a document in some other language, they probably won't be able to help you.

There may be centres/shops that can do many languages, I'm not sure (obviously, some languages should be more common here).

I'm assuming this is what you need:

Or find a notary public that can do #8(ii) from the language the document is in (presumably Thai).

Try these people..... I cannot vouch for them as I've never needed a translator but apparently they are also accepted by the various ministries here.

Guys, screw up from my end

I used what ICA considers a "private translator"

Singapore Royal Thai Embassy has a panel of translators to use. Thereafter the embassy does the authentication. Oh well, you learn from these things

I would have just used the Embassy in the first place (tried to point you there), provided you could get an appointment. If I recall correctly, you could also get a translation notarized there (Embassy), but in that case just get them to translate it if they provide the service.

Anyways, just get it straightened out and good luck.
