Employment Pass couple, apply for PR independently or together?

Post by chewedmentos » Wed, 13 Sep 2023 2:36 pm

Me and my wife are Indonesians currently working here under Employment Pass. I have been working here for 2yrs+, while my wife was a student at NUS in our first year, and then continue to work under EP after graduating earlier this year.

We are planning to apply for PR, but not sure if it's better for each of us to apply independently or file a single application as a family (but also not sure who should be the main applicant?)

Anyone here mind sharing their experiences?

Thanks!

You posted the exact same thing on the askSingapore subreddit earlier today and then deleted it. Why so secretive?

Family units are valued in Singapore as potential to give birth to next generation. Applying separately is suspicious.

You never state race (Malay from your Reddit reply which I saw before you deleted), age, education, occupation, salary, kids, marriage length, etc.
