Hi everyone,
I'm due to arrive in Singapore in about 2 weeks, already signed a tenancy agreement starting the day I arrive (checked it was all legit by a local friend) but have realised that getting utilities switched on is a bit of a process.
It seems I need my FIN card and a Singapore phone number to sign up for a SP utilities account, and then to book an appointment which could be up to two weeks after that. This could mean I'm without utilities for 3 weeks if I need to get my actual card before setting up the account. Is there any way to set up the account temporarily with a foreign phone number and just my FIN from my IPA so that I would have utilities available soon after I move in?
Thanks in advance!

Your agent could probably assist you with that for your utilities opening. Use his/her local mobile number. Ask for permission. But you will need your Fin number for application.
