Finding a job or doing imported business

Post by AmyUtteridge » Thu, 31 Aug 2023 7:07 pm

My husband and I plan to move at the end of this year as he will start his job this December. I am working as a Financial controller in the UK and wondering whether it is challenging to find a job - full-time and part-time job there at the age of 50. My second option is to import some English antique stuff from the UK to Singapore. I just wondering about the antique market in Singapore, it is a niche market?
Thanks

There is a small antique market but you'd be better of exporting from here back to the UK. Over the years I've sold a few items for export but the locals mostly buy new stuff.
I not lawyer/teacher/CPA.
You've been arrested? Law Society of Singapore can provide referrals.
You want an International School job? School website or http://www.ISS.edu
Your rugrat needs a School? Avoid for profit schools
You need Tax advice? Ask a CPA
You ran away without doing NS? Shame on you!
