The website says "For applicants/sponsors who wish to update ICA on changes to any of the following 4 areas while the PR application is in progress. Please submit the documents only once." I'm not sure if this means only updating once per application process or making sure I don't duplicate and send the same update multiple times.
Assuming, it means not duplicate, then another question is whether updating again is a good idea, or would it further delay the process since it's close to 12 months.
The first application (5.4K salary) was rejected in about 12 months (2022-Jan reject). The second application was made in 2022-Sep with a salary of (7k salary), and in 2023-Jan I updated the portal with a salary of 8k. Now I have a salary of 8.5k, I'm wondering if I should update again, to reflect 8.5k from 8k that I updated in Jan. No job changes, mainly due to promotion/ adjustments, etc.
Also was asked for documents proving Im Chinese the first application was around 6 months in (I had documents to prove). This time around was not asked. Not sure if ICA asks for documents again.

8.5K you can update. They wont have the same documents again as they have your old records.

What documents did you share with ICA to prove that you are Chinese? I'm also of Chinese descent but don't come from China/Indo and don't have a Chinese name. Not sure what documentations are required to prove that I'm of Chinese descent
