Skydiving and / or Private Pilot Light Aircraft flights?

Post by JumpingMatt » Mon, 11 Apr 2005 4:33 pm

Hi,

My company is looking to relocate me from the UK to Singapore and I was wondering if there are any opportunities to Skydive or fly light aircraft on a PLL (private pilot licence) out in Singapore? I’m hoping I wouldn’t have to give up my two favourite leisure activities!

Thanks for any info.

Cheers,

Matt

Hi

skydiving is unfortunately not available in Singapore itself but in neighbouring Malaysia. It's a shame cause it is so much fun... A search on Google should bring up contact details for skydiving. I know there is a club based here who goes to Malaysia to dive...

good luck

Hi there

You should try calling the Singapore Flying College for test flights and those with ppl's. Tel: 6481 5166. They've got Cessnas and stuff.

Or the Singapore Youth Flying Club : 6483 5629.

Both are located in Seletar Airport. I work in the vacinity myself.

Good luck! Hope you get some positive news.

Cheers

hey dude...

skydive, aerial sports.... something promising coming from Thailand/Pattaya.

I recently made a trip to the Pattaya DZ, the operations is great. Looking like we may be getting a regular DZ soon :)
