SC Application Detail Update

Post by dan91 » Sun, 30 Jul 2023 11:05 am

Hi all.

I'm a MY Chinese PR and submitted my SC application in July 2022. Recently got a pay raise of ~4% only with no change to my designation. Is it recommended to upload this new paycheck as an update to my application? Or it might actually count against me since it's only a ~4% pay raise w/o promotion? Appreciate your advise based on anecdotal evidence.

Please correct me if I'm wrong, the way to update our application is to just upload the docs via the "Upload Additional Documents" link, right?

Also, as I want to have a record of what I've shared with ICA in my SC application form, does anyone know how I might be able to download/retrieve submitted SC application form on the website? Doesn't seem to have that functionality.

When in doubt, I just emailed ICA and asked them. They are pretty prompt in replying.
I kept record of everything I submitted at the time I submitted it, so I don't know about that one.

I believe you wont be able to get a record of what you submitted now unless while submitting you took a PDF print out of each page you submitted. I did the same while submitting the application so i have full details of what was entered for each field at the time of application submission.

Submitting 4% increase is of no use i believe as has been discussed multiple times on this forum that it has to be a substantial change of circumstances to be uploaded as a real change else it is more of standard increase which just shows no extra ordinary achievement but a standard payrise.
