Ok. Noted. Thanks.jalanjalan wrote: ↑Fri, 28 Jul 2023 5:46 pmIf you're concerned about the waiting time, others have reported waiting longer. Just be patient.
Your point of view should be understood and noted. We submitted application earlier (but not to all of them) and got rejected after a 12-months. My elder son is also applied by his won, and got rejected after 7 months. Now, we all applied jointly.sundaymorningstaple wrote: ↑Fri, 28 Jul 2023 6:02 pmDimitry, I am curious. If this is your first SGC application, may I ask why you waited 14 years to apply for it? I fear that ICA may wonder the same thing.
Honestly? I wish you luck, but I have a gut feeling based on your ages and the fact that you both aren't likely to show massive increases in income and the boys, as PRs, are already on the hook for NS. You are starting to get to the age when medical subsidies come in handy and you & I both know as PRs we are screwed in that respect.

You can expect to wait as long as 24 to 27 months, which, honestly, if you've already waited 20, what's a couple more?VDimitry wrote: ↑Fri, 28 Jul 2023 6:18 pmOk. Noted. Most of the issues I anticipate you encountering are age related, and like SMS said, with your kids already being PR's, the ICA has got what they wanted, so there really is no incentive to award you PR.VDimitry wrote: ↑Fri, 28 Jul 2023 3:58 pmDear All
