PR Chances 2023

Post by Cellisto95 » Fri, 14 Jul 2023 9:09 pm

Hi there! I'm a newbie to this forum, although I've been staying in Singapore for quite a while :) So, I finally decided to try my luck in PR application 😅 and got curious, how low my chances are?

Nationality: Uzbekistan
Age: 28
Marital status: Single
Salary: 70k annually
Industry: Music Instructor ( Cello Teacher )
Experience: 5 Years of working as a music instructor in SG.
Degree: Bachelor Degree in Music (NUS 2014-2018)
Stay in Singapore: 10 years. Working as a music instructor (Cello Teacher) in a music school since 2019.
Visa: EP ( renewed for another 3 years in April 2023)
PR: Applied in May 2023 (Pending)

Btw, my PR Application includes 3 recommendation letters from local NUS Profs.(but I'm not sure if it matters)

Waiting to hear your thoughts about all of this. Although, deep inside I know that my chances are close to Zero 😀

Have a nice day, Everyone:)

If you’re single, chances are indeed close to zero since you’re lumped under “Others” race which has the largest amount of applicants. ICA wants babies and married couples usually begets babies that can be potential PRs/citizens. Not sure if ICA has a record of granting PR to people from Central Asia.

If you want PR then fall in love with a local Singaporean and get married. Not recommending a marriage of convenience, of course.

Out of curiosity; how did you upload the recommendation letters? I mean under which section?

Any local marriage prospects? The old ball and chain is probably your only hope.
