Post by rafa89 » Sat, 01 Jul 2023 11:46 pm

Hi All, I have been a silent reader for a few years in this forum and now have the guts to post something to get a comment on our profile as I intend to apply for PR again for the 3rd time.

first application applied myself back in March 2020 and was rejected March 2021.

second application applied with my wife in Oct 2021 and was rejected Oct 2022.

I am going to apply again with my son

Our detail :
Son: 11 month (born in Singapore and on DP)
Wife: early 30 (DP)
My self: early 30 (EP - work as Network Engineer ) been in Singapore since 2017

Race: Indonesian
Marital Status: Married for 4 years with 1 son
Education :
Me: Degree in Computer Science
Wife: Degree in Biochemist (housewife)
Income: 100K. p.a

Kindly review our chances. Thanks

Hi rafa89, can you also share how many years you have stayed in SG? Did you obtain your degree in SG?

Are you / your wife of Chinese ethnicity?

Low chances. Additionally 2nd Application too soon after 1st rejection. Should have waited for 2 years unless you had a huge increase in Salary or your child had already been born. If you have a degree in Computer Science you should already know that if you put the same data (that matters) into the system, you will get the same output. Your race may hamper you as well. But I wish you luck all the same.

I see. Be prepared for a long battle as you may receive a few more rejections... Anycase, keep going and good luck!
