                      Any kids?

I'd say you have a very good chance. Profile is solid. The next step after PR is citizenship, and it's been more than two years since you've been granted PR so it's a natural time to apply.

How many times must we parrot another responder with the same answer if the answer is correct as we see it? I occasionally put down a single one word answer "concur". Rather than regurgitating the same answer over and over. Start worrying when your wait reaches 24 months. We've had a couple of them in the past 12 months. Some with good and some with bad outcomes so time is not any guarantee either. It is what it is.

Yeah... time can be an indication but doesn't guarantee any outcome.

It's sage advice, if you can look past the phrasing.

The only person you're stressing is yourself.

Housing subsidies are just a bonus, not a right. OP should already demonstrate being financially able to purchase a house instead of relying on a maybe-citizenship to get govt subsidies.

From ICA & HDB POV, other Singaporeans families need a house too leh. Not just PRs with the potential to be citizens.

Don't get me wrong, we need citizen to quickly buy a house due to both PR required to fulfil min 3years timeline. My wife just approved on this Feb. ](*,)
