eVisa granted - Query regarding the submitted Application Form

Post by StephenDoc » Sun, 18 Jun 2023 1:56 pm

Good day,

I received my eVisa to Singapore today morning (visit/vacation); however, when I was reviewing the Application 14-A (randomly), which the authorized travel agent submitted, I noticed that she marked that I did previously visit Singapore on a different passport number, but the reality is that I told her at the time of applying is that I once had an eVisa on the old passport, but did not travel.

Will this affect my entry into Singapore as they might think that I (i.e., the agent) have provided inaccurate information?

Do immigration, upon arrival, have access to the application form 14-A or just the final outcome of the visa?

Will they check that the abovementioned answer is incorrect, as they can see I have never accessed Singapore before?

Another question, is it true that I will be taken into a room for interrogation? Even if I am travelling just for tourism purposes?

I have one of the weakest passport on earth :D

Easy way is to bring your old passport. The eVisa will not be chopped as entry done nor exited the country. Therefore no issue. But don't try to only 'talk' your way out of it. Make sure you bring your old PP as well as the current one with a current visa.

Oh, out of curiosity do you have a pet named Clyde immortalized in a song released in 1962? Just being cheeky.
