Foreigner wife giving birth in Malaysia

I dont understand what logic is that for a Singaporean and Indian citizen to give birth in Malaysia?

If one of them is Malaysian, I still can understand. But none of them is.

It's a massive risk for little monetary gain. There is so much that can go wrong.

I actually believe the savings will be significant, though you are absolutely right, there is too much that can go wrong that it's no longer worth it.
