Not to mention those doing what could be done on a sun-dried mattress...
Unfortunately I've seen this more than once.
I’ve not encountered anyone doing sexy times on the top storey of the carpark since it’s surrounded by 4 blocks and the sound travels.
However, I have witnessed someone zipping up their fly as they were coming out of the car at the 5th floor.

It was raining that day so I did my exercises one floor below the top storey. He seemed somewhat embarrassed upon seeing me lol.
Speaking of Clementi Forest, highly recommend hiking it to find the partially sunken railway track. Hubby and I got lost a little bit until we found markers tied to trees.

Add to it that the highest elevation allowed in Singapore to fly with no extra permit is 60 m above mean sea level (AMSL) so technically I can not fly my drone at my flat in Bukit Batok because it's high floor and the ground is already ca 30-40 m AMLS
Well, the good news is you probably wouldn't want to fly it from your flat anyway, if things went South, it would be impossible to retrieve.
I think, for the most part, singapore's landscape and environment is not suited to aerial activities. Far too many high rises, too dense of a population, too many laws.
It is still fun actually. There are number of places worth flying, for example Marina Bay, Kallang Basin, WCP, Clementi Forest. Not that many laws either. Just need to learn them and adhere. The main problem as I see it is what I mentioned earlier - people tend to assume the authorities are forgiving. They often are (unless one tries to push the limits), but not in this case.
I'm sure it is, I just think it won't be nearly as fun as it could be as most of the fun is that the drone can go where you can't.

Consider yourself one of the lucky ones

Both times I've encountered this, the offenders seemed to barely be past the legal age of consent. Each time, they were wearing uniforms.
Perhaps the guy had been taking a piss? Singapore is the first country where I've encountered no public urination signs.
And as a matter of fact, I've actually hiked Clementi Forest before. I remember wearing a pair of Nike trainers that have barely gotten any use - by the time we got out, they were absolutely caked in mud. Left them outside our home for a day because I was too exhausted to clean them, and they had solidified into bricks by the time I got around to it. It had been raining that morning, so it was muddy all over. The paths are not super defined to begin with so you can imagine that adding water and mud to the mix would be chaotic. I ended up taking a pretty bad tumble as I slipped while crossing a small stream barely 10 minutes in. Unique experience, but won't do it again. Prefer the more tame and developed paths.

I had a “hobbyist” drone flyer who went up to the top floor (6th storey) of the multi-storey carpark near my parents house. He flew his drone up to the 12th floor where my parents flat was and I was WTF-ing at an object hovering outside the living room window. Think he was trying to fly around the carpark but flew too high. Only saw him on two occasions, he never flew near the windows again and didn’t see him anymore after that.
I always joke the MSCP is multi-purpose in addition to being multi-storey. In addition to drone flying, things I’ve witnessed:
- Suntanning
- Sun drying of mattress
- Bringing jaundiced babies out for walks in the morning
- Viewing lunar eclipse
- Exercising (jogging, skating, skateboarding, skipping, martial arts)
- Dating/studying
- Police doing a photoshoot (for real)
- Car enthusiasts lining up their cars to do a photoshoot
- Wedding gatecrash (bride’s window faced the MSCP)
- Dog training
- Parrot flying training
- Drummer with drum kit filming a music video
Not to mention those doing what could be done on a sun-dried mattress...

I saw his car pull up. A lady got out of the front passenger seat and went to the back seat. He also go out of the drivers seat and went to the back. Somehow both didn’t notice me initially until the dude got out of the back seat with his fly down before driving away. Lady still stayed in the backseat.

At the end of Clementi Forest trail there’s a bunch of HDB blocks near Sunset Way. I was seated at the void deck to catch my breath when one of the residents saw my muddy boots and said I can drop in 20c or 50c near the water dispenser area (usually for people to collect water in pails to wash their cars) to wash my boots.
Water lasted quite a while too for hubby and I to wash our footwear.
Saw lots of lost soles abandoned on the trail. It was amusing. Had to bring my boots to a cobbler in the end to sew my soles as the glue was almost coming out. Now they are indestructible.

Wish I had known that a year ago, I'm embarrassed to admit this, but I never really managed to get all the dirt out. By the time I got around to cleaning them, I managed to de-crust them, but they were stained beyond return.
Where is your cobbler? I've got a pair of sandals that I need to get re-soled. There used to be an old uncle by Holland piazza, but I don't see him anymore. Wonder where he went...

I just went to the shoe/bag repair shop at NEX and such shops are prevalent in malls. I brought my boots there, asked if the soles can be sewn back and the owner said he could do it.

There's nothing of the sort in my area, at least that I know of. How much did it set you back?

These shoe/bag repair shops tend to be in hidden corners in the malls. Either in basement or top floor. Sometimes they do key duplications too. Maybe not all the ones in town but probably the heartlands? I vaguely recall seeing such a shop in Plaza Sing.

I guess the closest ones would be Holland MRT or CS Jelita. Pity that more and more mom and pop shops are getting taken over by big chains like this.
