Hello! No I'm attached. Been dating a girl i met at NUS for 2 years. She is a SG citizen, born in taiwan.
But we have no plan of marriage yet.
Thanks for sharing that invitation letters are rare! I do wonder why, and how, some foreign students might receive that letter. I don't think ICA looks at good school grades. Haha.
The ICA actually does look at grades, though at your age, it may not be very relevant. If you don't succeed this time, your chances will probably go up if and when you do get married.

Thank you Lisafuller. Well, I believe ICA may value good school grades for applicants who submitted through the foreign student scheme.
On a side note, this doesn't explain how some students might receive an invitation letter to be PR, unless MOE is actively sharing result slips with ICA. The 2 girls I know got their letter in lower sec years, and both only applied for PR after receiving the letter.

Lol. Maybe some departments in ICA do have a KPI to hunt and proselyte foreigners to PR.

No point speculating, the ICA has incredible capabilities that most of us will never know about. Information is shared across all government agencies.

Guys I have to share this.. Just today I saw my "upload documents" option has disappeared...
From what I read, I know this could mean an outcome in about 2 weeks from now.
Super nervous now. Please wish me good luck..

Not always, my outcome was released one month after the upload documents button disappeared

Hi Sonnabend! Tks for the info. Today is the 7th day since the upload button disappeared, but status is still pending. I will update again next week!
