Seeking advice “DETAILS OF FAMILY MEMBERS”

Post by Bunnybear » Sun, 21 May 2023 10:24 pm

Hi guys

I have received an email from ICA requesting me to submit details of family members. The problem is that I have not been close with my family since I was young, so I am unable to provide this information. I tried to contact my siblings, but they were not willing to share with me their employment history. Any ideas, suggestions, or advice that I do for this issue?

Better find a way to re-open communication channels then. If you ignore it, you do so at your own peril. I don't think that they are looking for their employment histories except for the fact that the are in employment or in the Military (and if in the military, officer or enlisted man) Parents occupations (retired, civil servant, self employed, housewife, baby oven, Teacher or worker, etc. Also if they are home/land owners and if every worked for the/a government (now or a different government). Maybe religion, political affiliation. Alive or deceased, etc, etc.

This is a pretty common request if coming from some 3rd world countries or counties with lots of constant unrest, etc.

I suggest you try once more to get that information, and if you're really unsuccessful, then reach out to the ICA and explain your situation.
