Problems getting money back from an insurance company

Post by JanŠindlář » Mon, 15 May 2023 12:50 pm

Hi,
anyone has had troubles processing their claim from a local insurance company? I have been trying to get AIA to process one claim I submitted in summer 2021. Countless calls, emails with customer service, my AIA agent has raised to his superiors but nothing....
The answer is still the same, "we are on it".

I should add the the policy in question is a corporate health insurance and I am no longer employed by the company since a few months ago.

I have filed with FIDReC but got rejected as I could not be considered an individual because the policyholder was my ex-employer, not me.

What are the other realistic options?

Many thanks,
Jan

Yes I had similar issues with a claim under a group policy when I left my employer. Fortunately I had a broker with the same insurance company (GreatEast) and he advocated on my behalf.
I not lawyer/teacher/CPA.
