PEP 12K threshold

My monthly salary is 11900 which is 100 away from threshold.
Should I try to apply for PEP or is it a hard threshold that zero chance to be approved?

Won’t work. New threshold is much higher anyways.

In addition to the above reply the new threshold is also a hard threshold. if your base salary per contract is 1$ shy it's a no-go. They don't play horseshoes or hand grenades where close can also count.

Also i just realized i need to keep 144K income as annual salary to keep PEP, even i'll have salary bump after my job switch it'd be hard to compensate the career break. I guess if no particular reason must to physically stay in SG during career break/job switch, might still better to find a company who's willing to sponsor EP. As if i do not meet criteria after getting PEP, new company still need to sponsor EP for me.
