It's neither mentioned on the Re-Entry Permit nor in ICA website.

Don't really need it. Did the PR have a employer as the sponsor or a SGC/PR spouse/parent as the sponsor? If employer then it was under PTS (Professional, Technical Scheme, otherwise it would be the FT (Family Ties) scheme. There is one other but doesn't really concern most of us on this forum and that is PR via the Global Investor Scheme.

Yes, I know the 2 schemes but that person cannot remember since it was a long time ago. Situation was: performed all studies since young in SG holding foreign passport while living with SG mum & siblings.
My guess it was likely FTS but no way to confirm it :-"

The government never forgets.

When my daughter applied FT thru her mother in 2011 the officer brought up the fact that my wife’s PR was tied back to GIP from her parents in the 80’s and the officer then wanted to know what my wife was doing to justify having PR for herself before considering PR for my daughter. I guess they expect some kind of multi-generational economic dynasty :oops!:

Maybe that’s why they upped it to $10m recently :shit:
