PR CHANCES from LTVP+

Post by mommyof2 » Tue, 21 Mar 2023 11:09 am

Hi folks! Would want to ask for some help to check in your opinion if what are my chances for PR approval.

About me:
Filipino
25 years old
I have 2 kids 1 boy 1 girl both sg citizens
Currently holding Ltvp+
Employed with 3k+ salary
Been staying in sg without exit for 1 yr+

About my husband:
SC
Employed 2k+ salary after cpf

When we applied for ltvp+ they’ve never asked for any documents and we just received a letter that it was approved. So not sure if they would ask for more docs also if we apply for PR if ever I got a chance 😅

Appreciate any insight! Thanks!

I feel you may get it this time or next time. If rejected, try to increase sponsor's salary a bit and re-attempt.

Apply under family ties scheme is better but SG spouse’s salary seems a bit low for sponsoring you.

Get him to improve salary first and maybe wait till you’ve been in SG for 2 years. You didn’t mention which race he is from.

Filipino's are classed as ''others". You may get in tho.
I not lawyer/teacher/CPA.
You've been arrested? Law Society of Singapore can provide referrals.
You want an International School job? School website or http://www.ISS.edu
Your rugrat needs a School? Avoid for profit schools
You need Tax advice? Ask a CPA
You ran away without doing NS? Shame on you!

With your husband and both children being citizens, it's hard to see you not getting it.

I do feel like in cases like this, where the whole family is made up of citizens, including children, it would be hard not to grant. To do so would be to contradict singapore's family centric values, which I don't see happening.

Chinese race has the largest ethnic quota for approvals though I'm not sure that would be relevant in your case as you are still considered a member of the "others" category.

There are numerous cases of Singaporean men marrying foreigner wives and the spouse still can’t get PR for years despite bearing SG kids.

There are many factors at play, not just blood relations.

I get that, but I maintain that having all your family members be citizens will undoubtedly work in your favor.
