Can I Change Job During PR Application Process With ICA ?

Post by blackpanda » Thu, 09 Mar 2023 11:52 pm

Hi,
I applied for PR 3 months ago and I want to change the new job now, would it affect the PR result?
Anybody can get the PR approval after changing the job during PR process?

Effect will be difficult to say without knowing all other factors .

I am not sure what second question means. If you are implying that just changing job will get you PR then I would be inclined to say no. Singapore pr process is not one dimensional.

You can email ica (quote your application reference number ) and tell them about your job change .
They will ask you to submit new annex 4a.

OK. the second question means I wanna know if there are any people who got the PR approved after they changed to the new job during the PR process.
My current director wrote a testimonial letter for me to apply for PR. After 7 months, I found a new higher salary job, I don't know what should I do. Should I proceed and take the new job or hold off till I get the PR's result?

There may be 2/50 who got it approved and 48/50 who were not approved while PR is in progress. How will you use this data for your case ?

Focus on how evaluating if the new job will add value over long term to your career, etc. Don't accept or reject the new job keeping PR application as the deciding factor.
