REP renewals

Post by x9200 » Sun, 26 Feb 2023 1:42 pm

Not sure if this was mentioned on this board recently, but already some time ago ICA stopped informing about REP renewal due dates (when they come closer). As the results we just woke up 3 weeks shy from the expiry date. What makes things worse, we would be overseas the time when our REPs expire. While I don't think this would ultimately lead to losing PR status, surely lots of bureaucratic troubles including some fines should be expected.

So mark you calendars or find some other way to remember.

wow..have to really check the expiry dates now and mark the calendars. Same goes for local passports, don't seem to issue notification letters for renewal anymore.

When I was completing my PR formalities 2 weeks ago, the officer reminded me on this as there will be no reminder sent by ICA. So I quickly set a reminder in my calendar so that I won’t forget.
