I randomly came across this which is actually quite informative and nicely done: https://www.straitstimes.com/multimedia ... html?shell

Then I noticed they have a comment section at the bottom. Which raises the question why they don't allow comments on "serious" articles? I would love to comment on this piece of shit: https://www.straitstimes.com/opinion/ri ... n-the-room
Why would they? That way, they actually have to hear what people think.

At least this one seems to manage to discover that being faithful has very little to do how strong you think you are to resist and how convinced you are your principles are diamond solid, but lots to do, how you handle the situations.

pretty sure ST is aware what's commented on facebook, reddit, hwz, etc etc. They quote such things in articles plenty of times. Maybe they just prefer to outsource moderation (can't blame them)

Of course, principles are worth nothing if you can't stick to them.

I do think since the government has an interest in the paper, it would be problematic for them to do anything that opens the government up to criticism.

A bit different point: many people honestly believe they can stick to the principles. Always. IMHO this is a complete BS for probably ++99% population with normal sexual needs. It's all about the circumstances. If they are right, this majority would cheat. The trick to be faithful is simply to avoid certain situation rather than believe one has some strong principles and can always resist.

Exactly, stay away from any ropes you could hang yourself with. This actually applies to a lot of situations in life, but some people are just suckers for that rope.

Yes, this is biological, by design. Men are by nature, by design, programmed to try and spread their genes as far and wide as possible. Women on the other hand are programmed to choose the best man possible.

In animal kingdom the way this works is the males have a fight and then the strongest male gets to mate with all the females. A bit like Genghis khan, the best genes survive and the weak ones are not allowed to grow.

We have created this civilization which is actually awesome for weak men because now strong men can have only one wife :). But the inherent nature of men can never go away.

Until the little blue pill, ED was the great equalizer regardless of how strong/weak you were.

The weak male syndrome probably bred the feminism movement, which in turn bred the MGTOW movement. Society is so enthusiastic about going against nature… but there are always unintended consequences.

7 years to comply? And still no change on cattle trucks? Obviously profit must be put ahead of human life.

So much for the "review" mentioned here:https://www.channelnewsasia.com/singapo ... iew-248276

On this, I agree with you. Housing should have been fixed years ago, long before covid, and the back of lorry transport method is a disgrace.
