As we all know, the concept of free press is unknown in Singapore. This results in some bizarre news stories.
From the Straits Times today:
https://www.straitstimes.com/singapore/ ... rean-women
Not only do they give the name of the telegram group, which doubtless has seen a massive influx of new members. There are no obscene pics I could see in the group (disappointing) unless bikini pics are obscene. Lastly none of the pics are taken in Singapore, most of the backgrounds look like Hong Kong.

The article promised as such, and I visited the group, so guilty as charged

Another weird one:
https://www.straitstimes.com/business/b ... udget-2023
This reads like a government written speech praising the budget. ST raises not a single tough question nor points out any problems.

From what a graphics artist friend of my son told him almost all the bikini photos and other suggestive photo are all shopped with Singaporean women/girls heads.

This may be true, I saw a post on social media where a girl had an old photo with friends photoshopped and shared among one of these groups.

This is more sickening than stupid:
https://www.straitstimes.com/singapore/ ... ster-again
The article talks about his Facebook post but provides no link to it - here it is:
https://www.facebook.com/10004437634134 ... 039472634/
The article strongly insinuates that he's done something wrong, when anyone with half a brain can see his brother is abusing government power to overturn the clear wishes their father put in his last will and expressed multiple times before his death.

Has anyone seen SMS's microbikini shoot?

That's right. I forgot you were a budding beauty photographer with the ladies here back in the day....... fortunately I didn't meet your criteria. I have seen some of your work and it wasn't bad. Are you still a shutterbug?

The rise of Instagram kinda ruined photography for me. I was in Brazil for a couple of weeks and I barely used my camera. Lots of phone snaps though.
That said, I recently moved to mirrorless and have been trying to get my mojo back. Probably won't bother with models because it'll be hard to filter out the vapid ones.
