Just want to find out, did you guys renew your Starhub bundle plan? Mine comes with TV, broadband and Netflix and I am paying $100 monthly.
I just find that the channels on the TV are just getting lesser and not sure if it makes any sense to renew the plan. I guess broadband is about $30, Netflix $12. So that makes the TV channel about $58? I don't really watch much of it as I do have Disney+, HBO, prime video and Netflix as well. And the starhub channels just kind of suck with all the repeats.

I use singtel, a lot cheaper, but the plan is also pretty bare. I've actually been quite frustrated recently as the connection seems weak than usual. We'll have to get them on the phone and see what can be done.

Just before the pandemic, I downgraded to internet only (no contract) for $30/mo.
I had the cable+internet bundle for years at $50 or less, but when Starhub wanted $60+ for the bundle, it was just too much… especially when I was going a month or more without ever watching cable TV.
I can tell you, I don’t miss cable TV one iota. I spend that money on Netflix and have no regrets.

Is star hub any good? I have a generally bad impression of them.

I remembered I paid only $90+ slowly the prices creeped up without my knowledge. And contents just got lesser, they kept losing channel after channel. I hardly watch Starhub so I might just follow your footsteps and just get the Internet alone. Honestly, paying $100+ is totally over-priced.

Depends on what aspect, but ‘good’ is not a word that comes to mind with any particular aspect, but it could be worse. For internet, here is the speed I get for down/up to San Francisco, which is where much of the internet content I consume is hosted.

SH used to have much more technically educated CS, but I had no opportunity to test them more recently. Singtel CS sucks practically everywhere, technically or not technically. My humble opinion of course.
I sort of alternate between SH and Singtel every 5-10y. Now I am on 1Gb fibre broadband with Singtel and all standard voice mobile lines with Starhub. Plus two mobile data lines with My Republic.
No complaints about Singtel broadband. It is really 1Gb if the other end can also deliver. I switched all my voice mobiles from Singtel to SH because the data bundles Singtel offered were basically miserable for the price. With SH they offer lot more data paying the same or less and the rest is on a par as far as I could tell.

From what I know, Starhub customer service is terrible... never quite possible to talk to someone.
How much is your singtel broadband?

Took my some time to find the attachments button. These are my speeds, not sure what exactly they mean. The first is on wifi, the second on data. I have a poor impression of Starhubs customer service, and they don't seem to price competitively either.

Ours is packaged with the phone bill, for 3 of us it's $236 per month.

Agree! Singtel CS is AWFUL!!! They pick up the phone and try to help, but don't know what they're doing.

$100 just for cable and internet seems reasonable until you realize how inexpensive it is to pay for these services on your own.

My SH home internet used to be around $20 or less for many years, but that was on a contract. Now they don’t have good deals, so I didn’t bother to recontract.
As for cellular data, I only have 100mb thrown in free with my cheapo $12/mo legacy plan from SingTel. I rarely need data. I think last month I used only 28mb. On my birthday month they give me 1gb free, and I barely use it.

For handphone data, CM Link has 12 GB for $10.80 per month and SIMBA has 100 GB for $10 per month.
